Kids & Dogs Get Metro Bank VIP Treatment at Herts County Show

Metro

Colleagues from head office and Metro Bank’s Borehamwood, Luton, St Albans and Hemel Hempstead stores will be enjoying the sunshine and giving kids and dogs free VIP treatment at the upcoming Hertfordshire County Show.

As a community bank, Metro Bank will be popping up all summer at key local events and visitors to their stand this Saturday and Sunday will enjoy a range of complimentary events and treats.

Metro Bank will be hosting a stand at the show which will be on the Showground with a marquee and garden area and includes a kids’ craft area – children will be able to colour-in windmills and tackle our new farming activity sheet. There will be two artists on hand offering free face painting for the kids to enjoy.

Metro Bank is famed for its love of dogs – which are welcome in any store.  With the weekend weather predicted to be the warmest this year to date, visitors can bring their dogs to the Metro Bank dog zone and take advantage of the cool mats and water bowls that will be there as well as doggie deck chairs, dog treats and lots of dog-related giveaways including Metro Bank tennis balls and bandanas.

“We are really looking forward to the Herts County Show and being able to be out in the sunshine enjoying all the fun with everyone else,” explains Borehamwood Metro Bank’s Store Manager Steve Ashman. “Visitors to the show should keep an eye out for our popular mascot Metro Man who will be making an appearance and available for a selfie or two, although given the weather forecast he may want to share a cooling mat with one of the dogs!’’
