Rugby – Originated in England and now played worldwide, rugby is a physical contact sport that involves two teams trying to score points by carrying or kicking the ball over their opponents’ goal line. There are two varieties of rugby: rugby union and league. Both involve carrying or kicking the ball over an imaginary line for points.

5. Tennis – This sport entails two or four players hitting a ball back and forth across a net. You can choose to play individually (singles) or in pairs (doubles).

6. Golf – Golf is an enjoyable individual sport that involves hitting a ball into various holes on a course with as few strokes as possible.

11. Baseball – Popular throughout the United States and beyond, baseball is a fast-paced team sport that features two teams of nine players attempting to hit balls and run around bases in an attempt to score runs.

12.Volleyball – This sport requires two teams of six players each to keep the ball in the air and send it over a net without letting it touch ground on their side of the court.

13. Hockey – Hockey is a beloved sport in Canada, as well as around the world. It involves two teams of six players (or more in some variations) trying to hit pucks into each other’s net with sticks.

14. Table Tennis/Ping Pong – Also known as ping pong, this sport involves two or four players hitting a lightweight ball back and forth across a table with paddles.

15. Badminton – Badminton is a sport that involves hitting a shuttlecock back and forth across a net with lightweight racquets. You can play this individually or in pairs.

16. Cycling – Cycling is an endurance sport that involves racing bicycles over various distances and terrains. It includes disciplines like road cycling, track cycling, and mountain biking.

17. Sailing – Sailing is a sport that involves racing sailboats over water using wind power to propel them. You can do this individually or as part of an organized team.

25. Powerlifting – Powerlifting is a strength sport that involves performing three lifts – the squat, bench press, and deadlift – with as much weight as possible. It often takes place in competition with winners determined by the highest combined weight lifted.

26. Crossfit – Crossfit is an exercise program combining weightlifting, gymnastics and cardiovascular activity. It often takes place as part of a competition where winners are determined by who can complete prescribed exercises in the fastest time.

27. Ultimate Frisbee – In this sport, two teams compete to score points by passing the frisbee to teammates and catching it in their opponent’s end zone.

28. Lacrosse – Lacrosse is a sport where two teams of players attempt to score points by shooting balls into their opponent’s net with sticks with mesh pockets.

29. Handball – Handball is another team sport where teams throw balls into each other’s nets using only their hands, giving the aim of scoring points.

30. Fencing – Fencing is a combat sport in which two opponents attempt to score points by touching each other with weapons such as foils, epees or sabers. It requires speed, agility and precision for success; therefore it may not be suitable for everyone.
